Dropo Prohibited and Restricted Items Policy

Businesses and shippers are responsible for knowing what they are asking Dropo to transport.

A shipper must accurately describe the shipment and disclose information that could affect its safe or lawful transportation.

This includes relevant information concerning:

• Contents
• Quantity
• Weight
• Dimensions
• Packaging
• Handling requirements
• Temperature requirements
• Fragility
• Regulatory restrictions
• Declared value when requested
• Other conditions that could materially affect transportation

A shipper must not disguise, mislabel, conceal, or intentionally misrepresent shipment contents.

Unless Dropo expressly establishes an authorized service for a particular category, the following items may not be transported through Dropo.

Illegal Goods

Any item whose possession, transportation, sale, distribution, or delivery would violate applicable law is prohibited.

Illegal Drugs

Illegal controlled substances, unlawfully possessed prescription drugs, and related contraband are prohibited.

Hazardous Materials

Hazardous materials requiring specialized transportation, documentation, licensing, placarding, packaging, or regulatory compliance are not accepted through standard Dropo services.

This may include certain:

• Explosives
• Flammable materials
• Corrosive substances
• Toxic substances
• Radioactive materials
• Compressed gases
• Infectious substances
• Industrial chemicals
• Other regulated dangerous goods

A product being commercially available does not automatically mean it is appropriate for transportation through Dropo.

Explosives and Incendiary Materials

Explosives, detonators, explosive devices, illegal fireworks, and similar dangerous materials are prohibited.

Firearms and Ammunition

Firearms, ammunition, firearm components subject to legal restrictions, and similar regulated weapons may not be transported through standard Dropo services.

Dropo may establish a specialized service in the future if appropriate licensing, insurance, operating procedures, and legal controls are implemented.

Stolen Property

Property known or reasonably suspected to be stolen may not be transported through Dropo.

Human Remains

Human remains, body parts, or similar materials requiring specialized handling are prohibited unless Dropo establishes a legally compliant specialized service.

Live Animals

Live animals may not be transported through standard Dropo delivery services.

Unlawful Wildlife Products

Wildlife, animal products, plants, or biological materials whose possession or transportation violates applicable law are prohibited.

Counterfeit Goods

Goods known to be counterfeit, pirated, fraudulently labeled, or otherwise unlawful may not be knowingly transported through Dropo.

Some items are not automatically prohibited but may require additional controls.

Dropo may restrict or decline these shipments depending on the service, driver qualifications, vehicle, customer agreement, insurance coverage, destination, and applicable law.

Restricted categories may include:

• Alcohol
• Tobacco and nicotine products
• Prescription medications
• Medical supplies
• Laboratory materials
• High value electronics
• Jewelry and precious metals
• Sensitive documents
• Perishable foods
• Temperature sensitive goods
• Large or unusually heavy items
• Fragile goods
• Batteries
• Certain chemicals
• Age restricted products
• Items requiring identity verification
• Items requiring specialized handling

A business should not assume that Dropo accepts a restricted category merely because the platform technically allows an order to be entered.

Dropo should only support alcohol or other age restricted deliveries after establishing the appropriate compliance program.

Where such services are authorized, additional requirements may include:

• Eligible business customers
• Eligible drivers
• Age verification
• Government issued identification
• Recipient eligibility
• Signature requirements
• Delivery restrictions
• Recordkeeping
• Applicable permits or licenses

Drivers must never leave an age restricted shipment unattended when direct verification is required.

Healthcare related deliveries may require additional privacy, security, chain of custody, temperature, identity, or regulatory controls.

Dropo may restrict certain healthcare deliveries to approved customers, drivers, vehicles, routes, or service programs.

Drivers must follow all instructions applicable to an authorized healthcare shipment.

Businesses shipping food are responsible for appropriate preparation and packaging.

Where temperature control is required, the shipper must disclose the requirement before transportation.

A standard Dropo vehicle should not be assumed to provide refrigeration or controlled temperature transportation.

Dropo may establish value limits for standard deliveries.

High value shipments may require:

• Declared value
• Additional insurance
• Direct handoff
• Signature
• Identity verification
• Enhanced tracking
• Restricted driver eligibility
• Special authorization

Dropo may decline shipments whose value exceeds available insurance or operational limits.

Businesses must accurately disclose shipment size and weight.

A driver should not be expected to transport an item that exceeds the safe capacity of the driver, vehicle, equipment, or applicable law.

Additional personnel or equipment may be required for some deliveries.

The shipper is responsible for preparing goods for transportation unless a separate service specifically provides packaging.

Packaging should reasonably protect the shipment during normal transportation and handling.

Dropo or a delivery professional may decline a shipment that appears unsafe to transport because of inadequate packaging, leakage, instability, exposed sharp objects, excessive weight, or another material safety concern.

A driver may decline or stop handling a shipment when there is a reasonable concern that the shipment:

• Was materially misrepresented
• Contains prohibited goods
• Creates an immediate safety risk
• Exceeds vehicle capacity
• Requires equipment the driver does not possess
• Appears unlawfully packaged or transported
• Requires qualifications the driver does not possess

The driver should report the concern to Dropo or the appropriate dispatch contact.

If a prohibited or suspicious item is discovered after pickup, the driver should not intentionally open or further investigate the shipment unless necessary for immediate safety.

The driver should move to a safe location when appropriate and contact Dropo.

Emergency services or law enforcement should be contacted when circumstances reasonably require immediate intervention.

Violations may result in cancellation, account restriction, suspension, deactivation, termination of a business relationship, or referral to appropriate authorities.

Dropo may also recover costs or losses where permitted by applicable agreements and law.

Dropo may modify prohibited and restricted categories as its services, insurance coverage, regulatory obligations, operating markets, and capabilities change.

Businesses should review current requirements before requesting transportation of unusual, sensitive, regulated, or potentially hazardous goods.
