Shipper Services Terms

These terms apply to businesses and other entities requesting delivery, local freight, dedicated-route or related transportation services.

Shipper responsibilities

The shipper must:

• accurately describe shipments;
• properly package goods;
• provide lawful goods only;
• disclose unusual handling requirements;
• provide accurate dimensions and weight;
• provide safe pickup access;
• ensure goods are ready;
• obtain necessary permissions.

Vehicle selection

Dropo may recommend or assign a vehicle based on submitted shipment information.

If actual shipment characteristics differ materially, Dropo may:

• reprice;
• change vehicle;
• delay;
• decline;
• cancel.

Loading/unloading

Unless expressly included, specialized loading equipment or extraordinary labor is not implied.

Shipper must disclose special loading/unloading requirements before booking.

Waiting time

Waiting-time charges may apply according to the rate card accepted when the service is ordered.

Proof of delivery

Dropo’s electronic delivery record may include timestamps, location, images, signatures and notes and serves as evidence of operational completion, subject to claims procedures.

Claims

Loss or damage claims must be submitted according to the Claims, Loss & Damage Policy.

Failure to submit required evidence within the applicable claims period may affect the ability to investigate or resolve the claim.

Declared value

Any declared-value protection must be expressly offered and accepted.

Business accounts

Approved businesses may receive:

• invoicing;
• negotiated pricing;
• route pricing;
• credit terms;
• volume arrangements;
• enterprise service terms.

A signed master services agreement or order form may override these standard terms where expressly stated.
