Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Dropo may update it as our services evolve.

Dropo provides delivery and regional logistics services for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect when you request a delivery, track a shipment, drive with Dropo, or use our website and apps.

1. Information We Collect

Account and contact information — name, business name, email address, phone number and billing details you provide.

Delivery information — pickup and drop-off addresses, package details, delivery instructions, timestamps, and proof-of-delivery photos or signatures.

Driver information — driver's license, insurance, vehicle details, background-check results and location data while on an active delivery.

Technical information — device type, browser, IP address and usage data collected automatically when you use our website or apps.

2. How We Use Information

  • To arrange, dispatch, track and complete deliveries.
  • To provide real-time tracking and status notifications to relevant parties.
  • To verify drivers and maintain safety across the delivery network.
  • To process payments, invoices and delivery records.
  • To provide support, resolve delivery issues and improve our services.

3. Sharing Information

We share only what is needed to complete a delivery. Drivers receive the pickup, drop-off and package details for their assigned delivery. Businesses receive tracking and proof-of-delivery information for their shipments. We also use service providers (such as hosting, mapping, communications and payment processors) that act on our behalf. Dropo does not sell personal information.

4. Location Data

Driver location is used while a delivery is active so that customers can track progress and receive accurate ETAs. Drivers can control location sharing through their device settings, though tracking is required to accept deliveries.

5. Data Retention

We keep delivery records, including proof of delivery, for as long as needed to support our customers, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is completely secure, but we work to limit access to information to those who need it to deliver our services.

7. Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information subject to our legal and operational obligations. You may also opt out of marketing messages at any time; transactional delivery notifications are part of the service.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and adults, not for children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The effective date above reflects the most recent version.
