DELIVERY PROCEDURES
Operational guidance lives here so it can be updated without rewriting the legal agreement.
Arrive within the pickup window, confirm the shipment details in the app and secure the load before moving.
Keep the shipment protected and follow the app for stop order on multi-stop routes.
Capture a clear drop-off photo, a recipient signature, or both — whichever the business requested.
If a pickup or drop-off isn't ready, start the wait timer in the app and contact support before leaving.
Cancel from the delivery screen with a reason. Repeated cancellations after arrival affect future offers.
Call 911 first if anyone is hurt, then report the incident in the app so Dropo can notify the business.
DRIVER FAQ
VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
Requirements depend on the vehicle class you registered during onboarding.
Dropo re-verifies insurance and registration when they expire, and may ask for updated vehicle photos after a change of vehicle or a reported incident.
PAYMENTS & PAYOUTS
Completed deliveries are paid on a weekly direct deposit to the bank account on your driver profile.
Base rate per delivery plus distance and time, with extra pay for multi-stop routes and larger vehicle classes. Every offer shows the pay before you accept.
As an independent contractor, you'll receive a 1099 form for tax purposes by January 31 each year.
SAFETY
No phone in hand while driving — set navigation before you move. Follow posted limits and never rush a delivery window.
Park legally at pickup and drop-off, use loading zones where available, and lift with proper technique or equipment.
Capture a clear photo of the drop-off location or a recipient signature. Contactless drop-off is available when a business requests it.
Call 911 first if anyone is hurt, then report the incident through in-app support so Dropo can notify the business.
DRIVER AGREEMENT
Review the current agreement and acceptance details any time — before or after you start driving.
Version 2.0 · Effective September 11, 2026
The agreement explains your independent contractor relationship with Dropo, delivery expectations, vehicle responsibilities, payment terms and how updated versions are handled.
ARBITRATION AGREEMENT
This agreement governs how Covered Claims are resolved. It is accepted separately from the principal driver agreement.
Version 1.0 · Effective September 11, 2026
The arbitration agreement explains how Covered Claims between you and Dropo are resolved, the claims that are excluded, and your right to opt out within the time period described in the agreement.
